Contest Divisions:

Little Anglers (Ages 5-9): For our youngest enthusiasts, a chance to learn and explore the joys of angling. Prizes and surprises await as they embark on their angling adventure.
Junior Anglers (Ages 10-14): A more challenging division for aspiring young anglers, designed to hone their skills and provide a competitive edge. Exciting prizes await the top performers.

Schedule:

●   June 8 - Contest Kick-off: Registration opens for Little Anglers and Junior Anglers. Get ready to embark on your angling journey!
●   July 13 - Casting Clinics: Join us for casting clinics and workshops. Learn valuable techniques from seasoned anglers.
●   July 27 - Reel in the Quest: Start fishing, record your catches, and share your angling adventures on social media with #YoungAnglersQuest.
●   August 15 - Final Stretch: The competition intensifies. Keep casting those lines and recording your remarkable catches.
●   August 31 - Quest Concludes: All entries must be submitted by the end of the day. Winners will be announced in the following week September 7 at 11am

How to Enter:

● Participants can enter by attending the Kick - Off Party at Miller’s Marine on June 8, 11am-2pm

Prizes:

Little Anglers Division (Ages 5-9):

●   1st Prize: $2,000 Visa Gift Card and youth fishing gear
●   2nd Prize: $1,000 Visa Gift Card and exclusive fishing accessories
●   3rd Prize: $500 Visa Gift Card, gift cards, and fishing equipment

Junior Anglers Division (Ages 10-14):

●   1st Prize: $2,000 Visa Gift Card and high-quality fishing gear
●   2nd Prize: $1,000 Visa Gift Card and advanced angling equipment
●   3rd Prize: $500 Visa Gift Card, fishing tackle, and gift certificates

Judging:

●   Entries will be evaluated by a panel of experienced judges, including local anglers and fishing enthusiasts.
●   Judges will assess entries based on criteria such as the quality of photographs or descriptions, the size and uniqueness of catches, the storytelling ability in the "Best Angling Story or Adventure" category, and adherence to contest rules.
●   Prizes will be distributed as Visa Gift Cards to the top performers in each category in both divisions.
